Purpose of the recycling programme.

Foam recycling programme involves the closed loop collection system of the foam scrap materials from the industry and the consumer. Fagerdala being an environmentally conscious company who believes in making the world lighter is committed to reducing the carbon footprint as the quality of the environment has become poorer because of climate change. Fagerdala has a simple return plan for consumer to send back the protective foam packaging materials for recycling after opening the box and instead of disposing it at the rubbish bin. 1 ton of material diverted from landfills to be recycled yields a net reduction of 2 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. 

How to send back?

After opening the box, the consumer will need to remove any tapes, labels or any foreign materials on the foam scrap and place it in a prepaid courier bag and send it to our list of collection network points.

Types of foam scraps.

Fagerdala is only able to recycle foam scrap of  fabricated Polyethylene (PE). They are to be removed separately if it is glued to any corrugated box. Identification of fabricated PE scrap is clearly marked or stamped # 4 on the foam.
