| THE PHARMACEUTICAL
AND MEDICAL INDUSTRY DEMANDS |
| THE HIGHEST STANDARD
IN TEMPERATURE CONTROL. |
| Blood products, human organs, diagnostic kits
and serums are simply unusable if not stored under
the right conditions. |

| Heat flows naturally from a warmer to a
cooler environment. In the case of an insulated shipping
container where the inside temperature of the box is much
lower than the external ambient temperature, heat flows
is unidirectional, heat energy will flow from the external
ambient environment into the inside space of the shipping
container. Insulation is rated in terms of thermal resistance,
which indicates the resistance to heat flow. The higher
the thermal resistance, the greater the insulating effectiveness.
The thermal insulation depends on the type of material,
its thickness, and density. In calculating the thermal
resistance of a multi-layered insulation, the individual
layers are added. Incorporating more insulation materials
into your shipping box increases the thermal resistance
to heat flow. |
