| Fagerdala PCM helps to ensure that the temperature-sensitive
products ( pharmaceuticals, biologicals, diagnostic
kits etc ) are shipped within the specific
temperature requirement to achieve the best
possible outcome.
Fagerdala PCM uses a hydrated compound
which is non-toxic, non-flammable and environmentally
friendly.
There are four types of Fagerdala PCMs.
Each specific PCM is color coded respectively
for the respective specific temperature
requirement.

PCM Features & Benefits |
| |
- Maximize space for payload
|
Thin
& slim : Can be inserted easily between
payload |
| |
|
|
No
sharp edges that may damage payload or hurt
users. |
| |
- Save storage space: Stackable
|
Save
storage space in freezer |
| |
|
|
Accelerate
cooling of the payload via its large surface
area. |
| |
|
|
Can
be reused repeatedly and helps save cooling
media cost. |
| |
- Physical protection with less water
condensation
|
 |
PCM is frozen at far below
the freezing point of water ( gel ices),
hence the condensate will turn into
frost with PCM instead of water as in
gel ice. With less condensation it helps
to protect the payload as water may
damage the protective carton. |
